Our client is seeking to appoint an exceptional individual for a new programme that will develop and deliver a comprehensive range of education and services `products`. The aim of the programme is to underpin the sustainable development of the SME and Early-stage manufacturing sectors within both the UK and international economies, and support our clients work with larger firms.
Product Manager (Opportunity for Part-time role)
Key Aspects of the Role are to:
Lead and facilitate the product management process, with the aims of:
o Helping our clients Research Centres to disseminate their outputs via services engagements
o Capturing learnings from industrial engagements to validate and improve research, and inform the prioritisation of research investments
o Implementing a consistent and effective quality assurance environment that both ensures client satisfaction and maintains their excellent reputation.
In conjunction with the Research Centres and Product Developers, facilitate:
o Development of a roadmap for the development of services and education products
o Development of business cases for investment in individual services products.
Support the Research Centres and Product Developers in the development of services solutions and their constituent Modules, including:
o Packaging and roll-out of services products
o Education and training of service deliverers
Experience*Skills required:
The ideal candidate will have substantial manufacturing industry and consulting experience; this experience to include both large company and SME sectors. The position requires:
A good understanding of manufacturing business and sectors
A good understanding of the development and delivery of strategic and operational consulting services to manufacturing industry
A good understanding of the management and quality assurance of services products
Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship building across diverse stakeholder groups, communication and winning support from colleagues to get things done in a cooperative and collegiate manner.
Salary £Depending on experience.
